AMPERS&ND Presentation & Discussion

presented by sade abiodun

A headshot of Sade, they are a Black person. They are sitting at a booth. The wall behind them is colorful. They are wearing a colorful stripped top and a blue bandana over blond locs.

What can we learn from stories about stories? AMPERS&ND is a multimedia archival experiment examining the processes and practices underlying the collective synthesis of knowledge and art. Its structural approach is unique, drawing directly from S.J Abiodun’s work across the realms of neurocinematics (the neuroscience of film), audiovisual experimentation, and quantum media theory. This project draw’s heavy inspiration from William Greave’s 1968 documentary ‘Symbiopsychotaxiplasm: Take One’ as well as several other core references tackling metanarratives and process-oriented storytelling. This workshop will give audience members an exclusive look at some early AMPERS&ND works and materials, as well as the opportunity to add to the archive themselves.

[Portions of this workshop may be recorded for archival purposes.]
