DeeDee Casimir

Director

Born to Haitian immigrants and the youngest of seven, DeeDee Casimir crafts stories featuring Black women living freely rejecting respectability politics. Having transitioned from fashion to film, her strong stylistic eye informs her writing and directing. DeeDee has a BA from Howard University and MFA from Loyola Marymount University.
