Akili Z. Davis

Akili Z. Davis is a writer and curator based in Philadelphia. She has a degree in sociology from Bryn Mawr College. Currently Akili works for BlackStar Projects as Senior Program Associate and Associate Editor of Seen journal. Since 2023, she has steered BlackStar Film Festival's industry-leading accessibility program, ranked top 5 in the world.
