Camille Acker

Camille Acker is a Black feminist writer, editor, and educator. Her work has appeared in The New York Times Book Review, Publishers Weekly, and Electric Literature, among other publications. She has taught creative writing in universities and community arts organizations across the country. In 2022, she was named a Fellow by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. She is the author of the short story collection Training School for Negro Girls and the forthcoming novel, A Very Special Episode.
