Mehret Mandefro

Mehret Mandefro is an Emmy-nominated producer, writer, and entrepreneur whose work spans film, television, art, and science. Born in Addis Ababa, she cofounded Truth Aid Media and the Realness Institute, a pioneering organization that trains African film and television professionals and connects them to the global entertainment industry. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science.
